Hi,
I accidentaly uninstalled a program called SoundMax. I have no idea where it came from. What does it do? Do I need it?
Thanks

Audio driver for soundcard.
It is needed for the soundcard to work properly.
Is your sound intergrated on the MOBO?

No my sound is not integrated, however the sound still works without the software. Does that mean my sound card is working or not?

4. Look for any entries with Yellow Exclamation ! marks or Red X's

OK I have done that and nothing is yellow or red.
Everything on my computer is working correctly so can I just forget about SoundMax?
Thanks a lot, rshaffer61.
