In the process of reinstall, now I am at a point in the process where it ask:

Format the partition using the NFTS file system (quick)
Format the partition using the NFTS file system
Leave the current file system intact (no changes)

..which option should I pick? Unpartitioned was not an option, is that ok?

Use the second option. Stay away from the quick format.

Almost done. Now, keep in mind that I haven't been going at this steady. :)

One thing about drivers. I installed Soundblaster to get my sound working but is there a disc for my video? The video appears to be fine but I have two Ati disc entitled "catalyst"... should one of them be installed? A few more installs and I should be able to plug in my slave drive.

I would leave well enough alone for the time being.

After getting back my primary drive to where it was previous the trojan attack, I powered down and connect my slave. The PC read the slave perfectly and I've completed scans. After 1.5 hours, there scans came back clean. Looks like everything is fine now.

Funny how no matter how detailed you are with a reinstall/reformat of your system, it always seems to end up a little different each time.

Thanks for the help!

Thats what makes working on computers so interesting! I wonder if that is where I got my grey hair from?
