I was recently infected with SMSSU.EXE and Tmntsrv32.EXE until i followed the instructions in this thread: http://www.geekstogo...ues-t20881.html. I followed them verbatim and now after windows starts up i still have a blank desktop, but every two minutes or so it will pop up for 3 seconds and disappear again. Here is my hijackthis log, please help, this thing has been a complete pain in the [bleep] for the hours that ive spent trying to fix it

Click Start > Run and copy each of these lines in the command line window

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

Each line should be followed by clicking OK.

Does that help?

Try one more thing please.

Copy the part in bold below into notepad and save it as rightkick.reg

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoViewContextMenu"=-

Doubleclick that file and confirm you want to merge it with the registry.
