I need some help with choosing the right kind of laptop.

I will be doing a lot of multitasking running firefox with multiple tabs, playing music, editing graphics and word processing. Also, I'll be doing some programming with c++ and php.

Any advice would be great.

How much do you have to spend?
What laptops are you looking at now?

This is a good one from Dell: http://www.dell.com/...great_deals_1~~

That is a nice one, but i feel you pay more for the Dell brand.

Do you have a staples or bestbuy close to you?
