I've not been able to connect to the itunes store to download my iphone update - whenever I try, I get the message: itunes could not connect to the itunes store. an unknown error ocurred (-3212). I have reinstalled itunes twice, checked my firewall settings (per a recent post on the GtG website), and am totally puzzled.... :)

Hi,
Could you tell me what antivirus you are running? I had the same problem when I was updating my touch. NOD32 antivirus was for some strange reason blocking the update. Try temporarily disabling your AV. If that doesnt work, it could be that the store is down.

Well it turns out it was my antivirus. I use McAfee and trolled through the history log. Sure enough, it had been blocking messages sent from my PC to itunes. I was able to disable this 'feature' (thanks McAfee) and I'm rolling!
