Boot Issues Win XP Pro HELP...

when I say boot to cd it flashes that screen the says starting windows setup then error with sys. file.

Ah....here we go.
It looks like you're NOT booting from the CD.

Are you sure, you can see:
Press any key to boot from CD
Do you press some key at that very moment?

Is that full version Windows XP CD (nice hologram all over)?

Yes original, also yes hit key and cd spins and says entering set up then get hit with sys file error. and I have it set in bios also. Should I try my other windows cd?

Ok my cd works but now I have black screen (This computer is already in the process of being upgraded to Microsoft Windows. What do you want to do?)
Continue the current upgrade press enter
cancel the current upgrade and install new version press F10
Exit without install F3.
This is what happened when I put my windows disk in...

Ok now what to do? Repair? Sp is that like install over the top? No file loss? How about My doc folders???

ok so now it says my key is not valid?? Is this because I'm using my other cd and not the other cd I tried first?

Yes as far as I can tell both Win XP Pro. Can I quit and go and install keyfinder on this system and get the key? or is it too late? Or do I have to Call Microsoft?

Ok Windows is activated but it still logs me off when I try and type something and now I Have this error when I boot up. The procedure entry point SHRegGetValueW cpuld not be located in dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll. Any help thanks....
