Hi All
I have had this IE taskbar popup for about a week. Where its like a web page being opened with no name on it. It goes so fast that it was where I could not get the mouse on it to see what it was. It would also kick my screen saver off if the system was idle (where I have a always on DSL) So I thought it was a spyware or malware I run all the adware and malware removel tools, HJT.
All clean.
WOW is this a new problem we need to deal with come to me frist.
THIS IS NOT THE CAUSE.
Come to find out it all come down to the software for my all in one printer from HP.
(HP PSC1315v) its a update checker doing this IE popup. It started after I did a update it called for on the software. I shut off the update checker still getting it.
So I run HJT removed a few line for my printer that were in there. Now no popup for over a week now. Just wanted to let you all know about this one. I guess if you can deal with the popup its no big deal.
:tazz:

P.S. Doing this will remove the HP director from your taskbar But making a Hp director shortcut will work the same.
