I can't access antivirus websites, in order to update my AVG.
I have tried AVG and then many other antivirus websites, always comes up äddress not found".
I googled for help and reached your website and found some posts from Feb 12th 2009, and followed the instructions (downloaded combofix, disabled malware detectors, ran combofix)
I can't seem to figure out how to proceed from here, and the problem remains.
I use an old thinkpad with XP. It recently crashed due to an elecric jolt and/or virus and had to re-install windows and lost 100% of the Hard Drive in the process, along with all of my malware and antivirus programs. I was able to install AVG from a backup flash disc and downloaded (and update) Spybot, and can access other websites.
I need to update my virus definitions etc and get rid of this virus!
