Hoping someone can help. My b/f is terrible on computers. After going through 2 he killed another one last night. That one is hopless it needs to go to the computer doctor because I can't even start the Window XP disc. Anyhoo...we get the second one out last night and hook it up. The problem is ... Win98 system (no disc) and the .exe files are now .lnk files. I pulled a hijack this...thought maybe someone could look at it for me and suggest what I might be able to do.
