Definitely NOT a serious problem ... maybe a program glitch because when I closed apps and reopened, double went away ... just wondering if this is indicative of hardware about to fail (has happened twice in last few weeks).

PROBLEM: accessed a website (with FF) and got the website displayed but also could see the desktop (it looked like a watermark 'beneath' the website image). Tried multiple times switching to FF window from other windows and the previous window was always 'the watermark'.

As I said, I closed all the programs open (OE6, Dreamweaver 8, and FF3) then reopened them and display was normal.

Have an ACER 21/22" LCD (P221W) and NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 and XP Home SP3
