Ok, I just bought a barebones kit from GlobalComputer.com And slowly started putting it together, taking the time to follow instructions manuals...for once. CPU installed, Heatsink installed, Ram installed, HardDrive installed. Boot up. Everything is fine...I was able to load and install Windows XP, reboot once or twice, installed the Graphics card, rebooting was fine. I shutdown and go to sleep, wake up, try to boot, Fans spins, no beeps, nothing on the monitor...
So I do some research, and I clear the CMOS, it boots up now. Everything seemed fine. 2 Reboots later, it does the same thing. Along with the fact that multiple other forums people are having problems with the exact model of Motherboard I have, are not making me hopeful.

Incase any of that was confusing. Currently the PC starts, Nothing shows on the monitor, no system beeps. Fans spin.

System Specs are as follows.
ASUS M4N78 Pro Motherboard
AMD Phenom X4 9600 4MB Socket AM2 CPU
2x ULTRA 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667Mhz
WD Caviar Green 500GB 16MB/SATA-3G
BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC 512MB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI

Any insight would be amazing. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Geeks To Go

It seems that you have tried a lot of what I would have tried also...

Have you pressed on the ram to ensure it is properly seated in the DIMM?

From my understanding the problem started when you installed the video card?

Do you have the video card seated and power plugged into it properly?

I would remove it for now (to check to make sure that is the cause)

run the computer for a while and make sure it is indeed the problem...

To help you more I will need the specs of your computer...

include anything with a brand and model number please don't forget the power supply (psu)

get back to me and we can get this figured out...

I have tried booting up without the Graphics card in the machine, and still nothing sadly.

The complete specs are here, where I got the BareBones from.
http://www.globalcom...s...7&CatId=332

Graphics card is listed here:
http://www.globalcom...sp?Sku=B52-9606

I've double checked all connections, I've tried booting up with the HD unplugged. I've no idea what to do unless theres the off chance I got a bad board...

System Specs are as follows.
ASUS M4N78 Pro Motherboard
AMD Phenom X4 9600 4MB Socket AM2 CPU
2x ULTRA 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667Mhz
WD Caviar Green 500GB 16MB/SATA-3G
BFG GeForce 9600 GT OC 512MB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI

I'm having a replacement board sent to me as we speak. If this one doesn't work then I'll update this further.
