I need to replace an existing 'c:\windows\system32***_initialization.txt' file with one that will fix a problem I'm having.
I embarrased to say that I don't know where to find this file and how to replace the existing file with the new one.
So where in XP Pro SP3 can I find the c:\windows\system32 files and how do I make the changes?
Thanks for any help.

Why do you need to replace a file, and what problem are you having?

where in XP Pro SP3 can I find the c:\windows\system32 files

They're right as it says: C:\Windows\System32\ Navigate to it starting from My Computer.
