I have two computers, Linksys router, and Touchstone telephony modem. I had a long ethernect connect the computer # 2 and the router. It worked just fine. I was able to get internet on both computers; however, I just reinstalled computer # 2 due to viruses. Now, it does NOT work. I am able to get internect on computer #1 which is the host computer, but I can't get internect on computer #2. I have to have them fixed by tomorrow morning. Please help me.
I used Comcast CD to configure it but it can't recognize ethernet when it is obviously connected to it. As I said earlier, it worked fine untill I reinstalled my computer. I don't know what to do at ALL. I have a comcast CD that was supposed to recognize the ethernet and also Linksys home router set-up cd. please help me !!

I am so lost. I don't know a thing about driver, router ,whatever. I had one of my computer geek friends do it for me. Please help. It would be nice if you guys can guide me step by step.
