Hi,

This is an extremely minor problem in the grand scheme of things, but, my mom has a Dell computer (I don't know what model, I'll explain that bit in a minute), that gives a boot disk error when you start it up. It says something along the lines of "invalid boot disk, please insert a valid boot disk in drive a:" when you start it. If you hit the reset button at this point, the computer resets and it loads Win XP with no problem.

Any suggestions on getting rid of the error?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hi,

Check the floppy drive make sure there is nothing stuck in it, could also be a bad floppy drive, try disconnecting it and see if the problem continues.
