Hi all,

I'm new to this forum but not new (56 years old :) ) I have a problem. I regularly download games from scrapetorrent and have had no problems up to now. However, I downloaded Midnight Mysteries -Edgar Allen Poe (a HO game). played it for a while and closed the game to do something else. it closed ok, but when it got back to the desktop my PC just rebooted itself. When I tried to reload the game it said my profile was corrupt and I had to start the game from scratch. A friend downloaded the same gamne and had no problems, so I'm thinking it must be my machine.

Any suggestions out there?

Hi,

Unfortunately no help can be given to anyone regarding pirated games on Geeks to Go. It is detailed in the Terms and Conditions:

The posting of links or references to warez or any other type of illegal software is strictly forbidden. By doing so you risk having your user account terminated without warning. We will NOT help anyone we suspect of having obtained their software illegally.

We will not support or allow the discussion of any peer to peer (P2P) applications, except for their removal.

No help will be given to this issue.

We here at GeeksToGo will not assist you with issues relating to P2P file sharing programs. While many of these programs are-in-and of themselves legal, most things acquired by their use are not. Instead of attempting to differentiate between the legal use of P2P programs and the illegal use thereof, we have decided to stop helping with issues regarding this software. It is also in your best interest to know that many P2P software packages come bundled with spyware/malware/virii and that their use greatly increases the chances of your computer becoming infected. I strongly suggest that you uninstall these programs and refrain from using them at all costs.
