MS office and other programs work ok but when I log on to the internet it freezes, the computer makes a grinding noise, the "not responding" warning pops up on the google header and then it (explorer) closes
I ran malwarebytes, spy bot, and cleaned up cookies - the problem seems to be with McAfee which says it is running a scan but is always showing 0% complete even after 20-30 minutes.
My hunch is to un-install McAfee and reinstall - any advice?
