I'm going to be starting technical college for computers.
Starting in August and I've been looking around for a good laptop.
Can anyone help me find a decent one?

I'm selling my Nintendo Wii and everything and am getting 400 in from that.
And 200 from work and other side jobs.

So about 600-700 dollars is my price range.
I'm looking for something.

NOT RUNNING VISTA OBVIOUSLY.
perferibly running Windows XP, I know mac's are good but i'm not a mac guy.
Or a Linux person.

And I need to find something I can use.
In that price range with a good bit of speed to it.
Perferibly 160 hard drive and a nice 3-6 gig max in it.

X3

can anyone help?

What Country are you from?, and if you were from USA(example) what about getting one from England and getting it sent over to you, or would you just prefer buying one from your country?

I could buy one from a different country if it would work on US power, an also be cheaper, xD
Well you get the idea.

Also if the warrenty on it won't take a month for repairs.

I like the fact it can downgrade from Vista.

I also found out that Wal*Mart is having a special deal at 8am for a Compaq.

15 inch screen 160 gig hard drive,
And 3 gigs of memory.

Only Question I have now is.
Is a AMD Sempron better then a Dou Core Processor?
