internet not working please help

hello forum
last night my lil bro was on the desk top and this morning when i got up i noticed all kinds pop ups for anti virus and when i tried to log onto the internet my avg popped up and said there is a trojan horse hbo.jew so i came to this forum and luckily found the tools to fix it and remove the tro horse well now that i did that my browsers nor my avg or any other thing on my desktop will not connect to the internet but my local area conection is working and ive done ipconfig /release and /renew and checked my ping so i have a conection please help

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a OTListIt2 log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a OTListIt2 log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
