Hi,
I have been trying this for a while - when a game (Empires - Dawn of the Modern World or Rise of Nations) has 2 discs I am able to insert the 1st disc, it installs, when it asks for the 2nd disc and I put it in, the computer freezes - it't like it cannot read the second disc.
Why does it do that? What can I do to install these games or any other application that requires 2 discs for installation?

You mean this happens with two different games? You could just have two bad disks. I would suggest trying another computer.

It's actually any game that has two discs for installation ...
And when I take the second disc out of the drive my Windows desktop programs disappear (as it is right now)
I can only get to what I already have open like this webpage or Outlook ...

Hmmm, never seen that before. Will have to do some searching. Are you 100% sure both CDs work fine on another computer?
