Hello infected????

check your DVD player for supported file extension's/format's

All dvd players vary on what file format's are supported...

Ensure your dvd player will support the file , and burn the file to a dvd

i would assume most dvd players would play avi , mpeg and so on( Picture quality will vary or it will not play at all "Format/file not supported " ) depending on the type of file/format , but you will have to check your own dvd player...

Best of luck

Edited
If you can give some technical details about the specific dvd player you are using , we may be able to assist you further

EG: Manufacture , model and any Stickers or Logo's Printed on the front eg: Dolby Digital logo , HDMI or MPEG ( what ever you see on the front )

need a little info (i use nero 7, but it should be roughly the same),

pop a blank disk you are using into the tray, close the drawer,

start nero startsmart,
hover your cursor over extras
click on get system info

there is a 'floppy disk' button next to the drive name, click on it

in the next window please make sure only the Drive and Disk boxes are checked,
(having them all checked gives a log of all your system and is not needed)

click save and save the log to your desktop,

post the contents here

all looks fine in the log, just wanted to make sure what your drive can do,

ok, can you play the converted .avi on your pc ?

if you are ok with instructions from nero7 then i'll go through the (easy way) process of conversion and burning, write them down and post them here,
