Hi. hopefully somebody can help, we're recently retired, got computer to keep up with grandchildren, but know very little about it...for a few days now, while on the internet, unwanted adverts keep appearing along the bottom of the screen, when we try to remove them, the screen "freezes", it then says programme is not responding, we then press delete now, ( this is the only option it will let us do.) then we lose everything, sending us back to our desktop. also the computer has been running quite slowly as well. Help ..please. thanks.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.
