Here's a good one. I have a lap top Toshiba Satellite running Win XP Media Center Edition. I'm getting the error message: id12.exe - is a currupt file and to run Chkdsk utility. when I try to do this from My Computer/"right click"/Properties/Tools/Error checking. window lets me know that is unable to complete the disk check. :) I'm in the right location? then I went to Control Panel/Administrative tools/Computer Management/Disk Management, then it lets me know that the disk manager service did not respond in a timely fashion. I'm at a loss, but not at a loss for words if you know what I mean. any help? :)

id12.exe doesn't look like legit file.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
