HELP!!!!! :)

I have created some movies on my digital camera. They are recorded in .MOV format. I used Replay Converter to convert the files to .WMV so I can edit them in Windows Movie Maker. What I wanted to do is to split the movies into smaller segments so that they'll fit YouTube's 10 minute limit.

I used the Split feature in WMM, then published each clip separately into their own files. The problem is that the created clips are freezing up at about 27 seconds into the movie when I play them back on WMP. The movie freezes, there's no more sound, yet the timer keeps on going.

I do not have this problem with the original .MOV file, nor do I have the problem with the full length .WMVs created by Replay Converter. But WMM created something that is not good. The uploaded videos are also freezing up on YouTube, even though the videos are downloading plenty fast enough. The red bar is well ahead of where the video is playing.

I'm running Vista Home Premium SP1 on a Toshiba L505 Satellite laptop with 3 GB of RAM and a Centrino dual core processor. I have high speed cable internet. It's 1:30 am, so the Internet traffic in the neighborhood should be light.

I appreciate any help in this matter.
