I am definitely not a computer savant, I understand just enough to realize that I really don't know anything. I have a system with XP and service pack 2 that I can get on-line with. The problem comes when I want it to recognize a printer. Even though the driver is there, I can't get it to print. I also can't get it to respond to an email. I did upgrade the RAM to 768 total but still get the message that the virtual memory is not enough.

I have been told be a reliable repair man that I need to reload XP and should expect to loose all that I have on the computer. My big problem is how do I do it and do I have to.

Any help is great. I am in Massachusetts and on my out for a long bike ride. I will check back about 2:00.
