My sisters laptop was recently infected with the "computer not protected" fake spyware removal thing and i guess she clicked it but now the laptop wont boot. like 1/6 times it boots to desktop but immediately freezes and BSOD(same thing in safe mode) i am going to reformat it soon but i am wondering if i should put the laptop's hard drive in my desktop as a slave. the only thing ill be doing with it while it is in the desktop is transferring the music and pictures. should i worry about the desktop getting infect too?
