Hey there,

Well, my parents computer died... Hard drive has the dreaded "Click of Death".

I have a laptop computer that has a broken monitor. Quick fix, connect it to my parents monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and they can have a brand new computer!

Here's my issue. Their keyboard is PS/2. My laptop doesn't have that connector. So I went and bought a PS/2 to USB adapter, and the keyboard won't work...

Any help would be great!

Thanks! :)

Buy a new USB keyboard is the easiest solution rather than faffing around with adaptors.

Haha, yeah. Thats what I thought. I was just trying to take the cheap way out of this problem :)

The adapter is a lot cheaper than the keyboard. But I thought I'd ask anyway.

Off to exchange the adapter for a keyboard after work!

You'd think I would be able to fix this kind of problem easily, after sucessfully transplanting a laptop screen on friday... Oh well :)

Thanks for the reply!
