Lost My documents due to computer crash

Hey! I had the same thing happened to me.
The folder that says "access denied" right click on it and go to Properties.
Then click on the Security tab and a message will pop up, click Ok.
Go to where it says Advanced, at the bottom.
Go to the Owner tab and select your account that you still have access now.
You can also check the bottom box. Click Yes or Ok in the next pop up.
And now you should have access to the files.
