Geeks to Go solved the problem of AVG conflicting with HP scans. Avira replaced AVG and works.
Now the new version of Adobe 9 conflicts with HP scans also via a D-Link router.
Suggestions?

Hello EarlB...

Uninstall Adobe 9 and give Foxit Reader a try. It works great with my HP scanner and is not nearly as bloated as Adobe.

Thanks. I'll give it a try ... but will it be able to read my previous Adobe files?
In any event I fixed the problem for now.
Uninstalled my virus protection, loaded Adobe, reinstalled virus protection and all seems fine. I am guessing that the virus protection blocked some of the software to make all systems operational.
The problem is with all these viruses, the various programs conflict.
