Recently, for no discernible reason, whenever I try to open a compressed file, copy or try to move a file to another location I get the Windows Explorer error message and the computer freezes up for a while. Then the desktop quickly regenerates and the computer resumes but I still can't decompress, copy or move files.Sometimes I'll get the 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close' error message as before but quickly followed by the 'DrWatson postmortem debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close'error message, then the computer really freezes and locks up so that I have to restart the computer.
I've cleaned the temp files, used Sysrestore, ERUNT,ran Malwarebytes anti-malware and scanned with Avira Premium Security Suite. Even tried scanning with RegCure. Nothing helps. Anyone have something that would help me?
