Does running two firewalls at once interfere with each other? Is it beneficial at all?

Running 2 firewalls is redundant and not necessary. They both are looking for the same coding so they may cause problems trying to run together. Personally i do not run any firewall at all. I use a router that stops all incoming data if it is not on the right port. My Avast AV seem to take care of everything else.
