Would DDR400 pc3200 Memory work with a PENTIUM 4 2.4 GHZ /512/533(SL6DV)

That depends on the motherboard. What motherboard is the Pentium 4 in?

Yes, the motherboard can handle up to 1GB of DDR400 RAM per memory slot.
