Hey there!

Over the past couple of months by computer has been bluescreening incredibly often! By that I mean 2-3 times a day. I'm finally ready to do something about it.

I've had a similar problem before in the past and it turned out to be driver updates causing the issue. I had a look about this afternoon and I downloaded some updates, but it didnt seem to cure my problem.

I know sorting out bluescreens online is incredibly awkward, but I was wondering if you guys could help me out?

I tend to get the bluescreens while in World of Warcraft (Dont flame me, I'm only human =() thats why I thought it was a graphics issue causing it.

Thanks for reading and I hope to speak to you soon.

Cheers,

Simon.

Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.
[Vista users] You may need to copy .dmp files, paste them into some other folder, or desktop, and zip them there.

Dump files are inconclusive, so we'll have to investigate more.

Some errors may indicate RAM problem.
Some others come from NVENETFD.sys, which is NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller Driver
Some others are from nv4_mini.sys, which is NVIDIA Miniport Driver.

Let's start with RAM.
If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.
NOTE Keep in mind, the manual check listed above is always superior to the software check, listed below.
If you have only one RAM stick installed...
...run memtest: http://www.techspot....topic62524.html

Also...

Download, and install Everest Ultimate Edition 4.6: http://www.lavalys.c...ultimate460.exe
Enter following registration code (Help>Enter product key) to make it fully functional:
RHGJE-54X47-HML9C-V498I-UUMVI
(it's all legal, the above version has been recently offered as a free download)

In left pane expand Computer folder.
Click once on Summary
In upper menu, go Report>Quick Report-Summary
Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Don't include anything under the line Debug - PCI

Very good.
You have 4 RAM sticks insttalled.
Turn off computer, and remove all sticks, but one.
Start the computer, and use it for a while.
If error free, turn it off, add another stick, and so on....
