browser closing

I would appreciate any help with this which is driving me nuts!
After opening BT Yahooo browser and further browsing I am contiually closed down returning to the desktop. Sometimes I am unable to get as far as opening BT Yahoo before this happens.
I have tried various virus scans and have looked through the various forums and tried some of the solutions suggested for what seems to be similar problems.
I would be grateful for any help anyone can offer.

BT Yahoo Browser is contender for most bloated useless piece of crap behind AOL software and Google Toolbar.
Uninstall the BT Yahoo Browser, you don't need it anyway. You can get to everything you want - mail, bills, messenger, etc - from the BT Yahoo's website through Internet Explorer.
