I've had this laptop for only a few weeks and ever since day 1 the sound hasn't quite been right. If I'm streaming music through YouTube for example, every second or so I'll hear a crackling or popping sound, or the audio will slow down unbearably. I've spent numerous hours on the phone with Dell technical support and all they've been able to say is that the hardware is installed properly and that there shouldn't be any problems. So far to troubleshoot I've downloaded the newest drivers, I've let the videos load 100% and then tried to play them, uninstalled the audio drivers that were currently being used in order to use vista's own drivers, and lastly I shut off all firewalls and virus software, still to no avail. My specs are the following:

Processor: Intel®Core 2 Duo CPU T6500 @ 2.10 GHz

RAM: 4.00 GB
