OE6: Unblocking an error detector

I sent a folder (qafiles) as an attachment via OE6 from one of my pcs (a W98) to another (an XP). But the received message came with this header message, “OE removed access to the following unsafe attachment; qafiles.Ink” and I could not get to the attachment.

Why would this happen? How can I remove the blocker and receive the attachment?

Thank you.

There is an option in Outlook Express to disable this. By default OE will block everything.
