Hi All,

I am trying to fix a Toshiba A60 which shuts down suddenly. I am sure its temp related and have installed a cpu temp watching package. It show that the fan comes on at stratup then stops. The temp climbs slowly up to 85 deg C where the comp shutsdown instantly. The fan does not come on at all.

I am sure there is somewhere, or some other software that will be able to control at which temperatures the fan cuts in and when it switches off, but I'll be "£$%^&* if I can find any.

Please point me in the right direction if you know any.

PS I've done all the fan cleaning, reseating and 'Greasing' the cpu and even tested two other spare fans and they all do the same thing.
