1: What is the make model of the system you are working on?

2: Where is the install cd for that system/

3: Is YOUR install cd OEM (came with a different system)?

purchased windows xp and it is a home built pc. i would rather not have to wipe the HD if i can avoid it for now.

it was this disk i am pretty sure; does it make a difference if it is the same disk as long as each computer has its own key code
