I have a workstation in my office that will not hold the resolution size on the display settings. When she logs in, her icons are not the correct size. She must go to the display settings and change her resolution to 800X600, hit apply and okay; then go back in and change the resolution back to 1024X768, hit apply and okay to get her set up back.

Why will this system not hold the resolution size and leave her icons where she puts them?

This can be corrupt display drivers or, if the system logs into a domain setup, an issue with network policies.
