Occasionally within about 2-5 minutes after starting vista it will completely freeze the system and can only be solved by a force reboot. The second time through then normally works.
I have run 2 virus scans, McAfee (which runs always on my machine) and House Call. I've been through the Event Viewer after the crash and dont see anything I can solve. No events before the freeze and after I got:
Event 1101, Audit events have been dropped by the transport. The real time backup file was corrupt due to improper shutdown.
Event 15016, Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side authentication. The data field contains the error number.
both of which seem like resonable corrupt files after a forced shutdown.
