Help please. Just got a Sony Vaio with Vista. The laptop recognizes the connection and says the signal is excellent. But then it says it is only connected local. I go in and reset the router and then do the get a new IP address and then sometimes it finally connects to the internet. Is there a way to set up my laptop so I don't have to go through all these silly steps? My Dell laptop connects immediately - no issues. But the Dell is XP. Help, please. Thanks!
