Hi, I have seen 2 help answers on different sites regarding scripting errors (one error in Yahoo Conference where IM's cannot be seen and one, where the Contact List is blank.)
Both suggested deleting the file
I have Messenger 9.0.0.2162 and Vista HP
My emptygrps file is always empty except for > [groups]
I do not have a problem, its out of interest

So-

1) What is the purpose of the file?

2) Why would deleting it rectify script errors ?
