Are there any good free software that allows me to do that?

And sometimes, there are soft subs and multi-languages for certain .mkv files; how do I put them on .avi files when I convert?

Thanks in advance.

Direct download from websites.

And not to mention, isn't Torrenting considered P2P also?

That site contains links to illegal downloads. We will not help you with problems related to anything obtained illegally.

All I can recommend is that if you enjoy anime, you should support those who make anime by purchasing their products. You wouldn't have to worry about conversion then.
