I have two computers that have been gutted for parts, but still have some hardware left over. Both computers are 12 years old. I have cases, old fans, small hard drives, nonworking floppy drives, etc. I'm just wondering how I can get rid of this stuff. I've heard you're not supposed to throw it away in the trash. Any suggestions?

Hi konakula29er,

Please check with your local recycling center if they accept old computer parts for recycling. There should be recycling depots that are meant to take electronic waste and dispose of the environmentally.
