When starting up my computer it takes about 4-5 times to get it up and running.

At times it gets to a black screen or doesn't start up completely.
It'll reach to the desktop then stop loading.
And once ina while it has the "Configuring Updates" screen and stays there, for hours.

Other symptoms are while on Firefox, at times, it locks up and has the loading sign on the mouse.
Also its been acting quite slow.

Symptons starting transpiring after installing iTunes, but now uninstalled.

doesnt allow itself to start up in safe mode, just goes back to the "how do you want to start up" screen.
