I bought a new motherboard so I could do video editing, but there's no firewire port on it and no place to plug in the firewire from the thing on my tower that has a bunch of memory card slots and firewire ports (whatever you call that).

What do I do??? I thought about putting in my existing graphics card, but it doesn't fit the new motherboard (it has a new kind of input I guess?).

I'm starting to panic!

Hi

Just buy a firewire card. You can buy PCI ones or PCI express ones so check to see what slots you have available first.

Here's an example of the sort of thing I'm on about:

PCI Firewire card

Hope this helps
