i have had half life 2 for almost half a year now and have been really frustrated because i cant play it. i have half life 2 through steam and every time i try to play it, it saysInternal driver error in IDirect3DDevice9:: present(). when i went to trouble shooting and it told me i need to update my video card driver and a link to the ATI web site. when i go there it doesn't have an update for my driver. again i have an ATI RADEON EXPRESS 200 series and need an update.

To update direct x please run the DirectX runtime installer . Just download and install. It will update all required files.

i did that and i started playing the game for like 10 minuetes and the same message appeared
