my motherboard fried, I bought a new one and replaced it with a new case with more and bigger fans.

first time it happened I was playing Prototype, my speakers made a weird click sound and the screen flashed. I could still play the game but without sound.
then it happened playing Combat Arms and it crashed to blue screen.
I took out my graphics card and used my onboard one.
I played Lunia and it did the same, but it crashed to desktop and not blue screen.
this is what it looked like when it was at desktop.

here are my specs.
vista x64 bit
AMD Athlon Processor 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+ (2 CPUs) ~3.2GHz
4 GB Ram
Direct X 10.
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
600 Watt Power Supply

2: Type in devmgmt.msc
3: Click Enter
4. Look for any entries with Yellow Exclamation ! marks or Red X's

It will want to download the Debugger and install it Say Yes

WhoCrashed will create report but you have to scroll down to see it

ok, first step the only thing that had a yellow caution sign on it was my AMD Low Level Device Driver.

second step. after I download and install WhoCrashed, I click analyze and a green bar pops up, goes away, and nothing happens.

Do you have a wireless network or is it wired?

I used to have a wireless connection.
I move and it's wired now.
should I unistall my drivers for the wireless and remove the card?

well, I jumped the gun. It works better then it did, but I still have problems.
first I tried to play Counter Strike, and that crashed.
it was running fine at first.
then I played Garrys Mod and it crashed.
then on Lunia online I can play for a lot longer then usual, but it crashes still.

I checked event viewer and I keep getting this Error.
Some processor performance power management features have been disabled due to a known firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

I did some research and people were saying that they were getting that error from Vista Service Pack 1. So I downloaded Service Pack 2 and installed it. I no longer receive that error I post above but all 3D games still crash. There are no errors in the event viewer except for that the game that I had running encountered an error.
