HELP! Cant remotely shutdown

ok i type this NET USE \\computername\IPC$ /users:administrator{password}

after this iam aware it is supposed to say the command was succesfully completed but it doesnt.

Im trying to shutdown comps on my network remotely using the command prompt but when i type this

NET USE \\computername\IPC$ /users:administrator{password}

the command prompt says : the option /USERS:administrator is unknown then it shows me the syntax of NET USE what am i doing wrong ?
