I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 with Windows XP. A few days ago my browser just stopped working. I use Mozilla and it was working fine just a few hours before then I tried to open it but nothing. No matter what address I type in it doesn't do anything and says "done" at the bottom where it usually says connecting or transferring data or something.
Also, I use PokerStars regularly but when I try to open it it gives me an error code that it is unable to get the latest software.
Google Earth says it can't connect to the internet too.
Internet Explorer isn't working.
Strangely, I can still talk to people on AIM but can't get their buddy info or anything.
However, my wireless is connected and I plugged it in to my router and my local area connection works.
I ran my virus scanner (AVG free) and it says I'm clean. I tried to do a system restore but it won't let me. Lastly, I tried to do a ScanDisk on c: but it won't let me either.
Sorry for the long post. Help me please!!

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
