When I go to the Windows Update page it freezes that IE window. I have to go into task manager to smite that window into closing. This is all happening after I did a repair install of XP. Before I just got a blank window but it didn't freeze. Then I didn't have windows search either but at least the repair did that.

I tried installing Windows Script 5.6 but that didn't help.
